چکیده
Abstract Background Takayasu arteritis (TA) is a chronic inflammatory disease that induces stenosis, occlusion, or aneurysmal degeneration of the aorta and its major branches. Though rarely reported, proximal lesions from aortic root to arch are more common in Asian populations than Western populations. In surgical treatment TA, anastomotic aneurysm can be problematic. Furthermore, atherosclerotic complications should considered for elderly TA patients. Case presentation Here, we report case brachiocephalic artery (BCA) with which was successful. it solely lesion artery, after considering patient’s clinical background features chose partial replacement. Further, avoidance aneurysm, both distal anastomosis were reinforced Teflon felt strips. Preoperative computed tomography detected severe changes vessels. The patient underwent replacement using isolated cerebral perfusion (ICP) brain protection recovered without any neurological deficits. Conclusions reinforcement introduced. ICP effective changes.

Takayasu arteritis is a large vessel systemic granulomatous vasculitis characterized by stenosis or obliteration of large and medium sized arteries. It commonly involves elastic arteries such as the aorta and its main branches. Renal artery involvement is rare and has not been reported in a child. We report a 12-year-old boy with Takayasu arteritis who developed severe hypertension, proteinuria...

Background: Takayasu arteritis is a granulomatous vasculitis which mainly involves the large arterial vessels. The disease is rare and it is more common in females aged between 15-30 years old. In this paper, we report a case of takayasu arteritis in Babol, north of Iran. Case Presentation: A 22 - year old female was admitted to the Department of Infectious Diseases of Rouhani Teaching Hospital...

Takayasu arteritis (TA) is a rare granulomatous pan-arteritis that involves large vessels predominantly the thoracoabdominal aorta and its branches (1). Angiog-raphy, particularly subtraction angiography is the procedure of choice for diagnosis of patients with TA and provides an appropriate guide for endovascular procedure (2, 3). A ten-year-old Afghan girl was referred to the pediatric cardio...
